summary of my activity goals: My group and i had some goals on our project. one goal was to have a physical representation for our project which we did have and it ended up being really good. One other goal was, to have a good power point for our character which i think we accomplished.

summary of our character: Alexander Smith is a man that loves exploring. Alexander give off Indiana jones vibes with the way he acts and sometimes dresses. Alexander is always down for and adventure and seeing new things🤠.

examples of what you created to illustrate our character: My group and I created somethings to help illustrate Alexander. For example, a soundscape for the sounds we think would describe him. Also we created a physical description kind of like a representation of Alexander.

description of how you organized all elements in our character station: We had our power point open and our physical representation in the middle of the tables with a toy jeep.

analysis of how you developed your character: We developed our character based off of what we were assigned to make our character like. Our charter is supposed to be very adventurous person. Me and my group came up with Alexander Smith. He is a adventurer and love traveling and seeing new things. In our project we used ways like our power point to specifically describe Alexander.

reflection on your group's process with creating all elements and the outcome: I think we4 and my group did a good job. I think we did great on the power point and really explaining Alexander. Also the physical description gave a illustration on how me and my group would like alexander to be looked at.

 My genre chosen is Comedy😂

Typical audience: All ages, but depends on the type of comedy.

Genre conventions: Funny situations and misunderstandings. Jokes, humor, and silly dialogue.

Institutional conventions: Posters often show smiling or silly characters. Trailers highlight the funniest parts to attract viewers.

Film samples with this genre: The Hangover, The Lorax

GENRE: COMEDY🤣

Content: Funny situations and dialogue. Characters get into silly problems or mix-ups. Light-hearted tone and happy endings.

Production techniques: Bright colors and lighting. Upbeat, cheerful music. Medium or close-up shots to show funny facial expressions.

Institutional conventions: Posters show smiling or funny characters. Trailers include the funniest scenes to make people laugh.

Home Alone: A Christmas movie where a boy gets left home alone and he fights off the robbers coming to his house. This is a cozy, funny, family movie.

Elf: Also another silly Christmas movie when a funny elf goes to the big NYC.

Sound

 When in my class i was working on sound i learned that it is very important and not looked at deep enough. I learned that some sounds are made using random things, i got to try this in my project when i worked on my foley sounds.

My first sound project i had to only use sound and no video, it was a little bit hard trying to tell a story with no video but in the end it turned out good.

My second project was adding sound to a previous filmizing project with no sound. This was more challenging because it was hard finding the prefect sounds to fit it.

For sound project one my approach was trying to make the story and sounds as clear as possible so my audience would be able to understand.😁

For project one brainstorming me and my partner were just trying to think of good story ideas with good clear sounds. For project 2 me and my partner were just trying to think of good replacement sounds to use for the film without sound.

For both projects the outline helped get the sounds i needed to get in order.

An editing source i used was clip champ.

For both projects i think i did a good job at editing but, for project 2 i wish i could have found better sounds but it was difficult trying to find the exact ones i need.
