Film Opening

Reflection on project

 I can't believe the project is finally done🫨😱. I feel like it has been such a long production journey. It has been lots of filming, editing, research, and hard work. My partner and I have really done lots of this project and put in really hard work to get to where we are now.  

To start off, reflect on our film opening Open Flame. I think the concept and the research went well and we got lots of information. My partner and I were able to incorporate typical horror features but also add our own little spin on it. The editing went well with adding the credit sequence and editing in the clips. The only critiques I have on this project are that the film is below the time limit, and we should have fixed that by adding more clips in. Also, some of the shots are in the same repeated angle. Besides that, I think our project was solid and stable and a good example of a psychological thriller film opening. 

Now it's time to reflect on the CCR! When I created the CCR ideas, I thought they were such a fun way to complete the CCR and answer the questions. The CCRs were fun and upbeat, and I was still able to incorporate me answering the required questions. One thing I would say is I think I could have done a little bit more movement and costume changes. Also, I think some of the clips were lengthy while talking, but besides that I think both of the CCRs were pretty good. They both were fun and interesting for the CCR. 

 

Post production CCR

 After filming my CCR, I added most of the clips into a clip champ to start editing the project. Adding all of the clips went smoothly now I just have to edit all of the clips. On Canva I also made some photos to add to the CCR to make it way more fun and engaging. Here are some photos of me editing on clip champ and also a photo of the Canva photo. 

When editing I am going to make It as clean as possible but also possibly add in some cool fun transitions and quick cuts to keep it more interesting than just a normal video. I believe the production went well and I got everything to make the CCR great!! 

Production CCR

 My partner and I just finished filming my 4 CCRs. I think the production went very well with the filming. I was able to get all my filming done in one day. Before I was going to film the CCRs, I created a script, so I knew what I was going to say and do when filming. Here are some behind the scenes photos of my filming for the CCRs. 

When we filmed my CCR, I believed I was able to answer the questions well while also keeping the CCR interesting. For example, the talk show segment I did some like a fun and interesting way to explain the questions that were being asked. I added some fun things into the CCR to keep the audience's attention, for example, I added in a fan mail opening which I open a present form I fan. I think the little touches that I added to my CCRS really made all of the filming, and the clips go great. 

CCR production ideas

 When hearing about the CCR part of the project, lots of ideas came to my mind. One idea though was my favorite, and I want to encopretic that into my CCR. One idea that I wanted to do for my CCR is a talk show that shows that dose a segment that interviews a famous person at their house. So, the beginning will just be a short introduction to the talk show then it will change to the segment Famous faces! I will now be shown in my home with an interviewer interviewing me on my new film “Open Flame”.  For my other CCR I want to do a video like a YouTube video opening fan mail with questions and presents.  It will be a fun video of me Answering the questions being asked and accepting the gifts from my fans. 

I think this idea will work well because I think it's going to be easy to explain and answer the questions clearly while being interviewed. I am also going to try to make it fun and interesting for the audience to watch and keep paying attention to what I'm trying to say. While being interviewed the questions will be asked by the “fans” of my movie “Open Flame”. When I'm being interview, I will be walking around doing something fun and interesting. Like for example, I could throw something in the oven or go outside by the pool. For the other half of the CCR the video of me opening fan mail and gifts, I think it will go well because I can make it fun and interesting while still giving a clear informative answer. 

CCR 4# Research and script

 Question 4# for the CCR is “How did you integrate technologies- software, hardware, and online in this project”. When filming this project, we were able to use technologies and hardware in different ways like for example we to film our project we filmed off my I phone which made the clips clean and perfect. Also, to edit the project we were able to use our computers to edit the project. One example of the hardware's we used was the tripod when filing out project, this was helpful to keep the camera steady and our shots clean. 

During my CCR, when I answer the question, I will talk about the technologies and hardware my partner and I used to make our project fire. 

Research and script CCR#3

 The #3 CCR question is, how did your production skills develop throughout this project? This is a very relative question on my work that I have completed in my Aice media class. When I first came to the class, I had very little knowledge of this topic and the class. When I look back, my first project in this class is much different than the one I'm doing now. Throughout this project I learned lots of new things that helped my project get as good as it can possibly get. I learned how to film better and incorporate new things. One big thing was that I was able to improve my writing skills for this project. It was improved by the research on my genre. 

Script: My production skills developed a lot through this project process because of the research I have done for the project. I learned lots of new details and techniques. The one thing I'm most proud of that developed tremendously was my story writing.

 The #2 CCR question is how does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text? To start off, our film product is going to be able to engage with audiences because of its interesting cliff hangers and suspense. Our film is going to try to grab and keep hold of people's attention to keep them interested and active in our product. Our film product does this by creating suspense and mystery to keep the audience begging for more. To continue, in real media our product would be distributed in theaters and advertised in adds, posters and social media. For example, shown on popular apps like Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and more. 

Script: Our film is engaging with our audience because we keep them always on their feet and get the film in their heads because of the strong mystery and suspense of the film. The film will be distributed in theaters and is being advertised on many platforms. For example, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and so on.
